Founded by Elements Green, a leading UK-based solar developer, EG Academy is dedicated to equipping individuals of all ages with the skills, knowledge, and hands-on experience needed to drive the transition to renewable energy. With a strong focus on making learning accessible and impactful, we are creating pathways to sustainable careers, from primary education through to university and professional development. Primary School Opportunities 

At EG Academy, we’re bringing hands-on learning about solar energy, ecological management, and climate change to primary schools across the UK. Through engaging assemblies, activity days, and fun competitions like a sunflower-growing challenge, in collaboration with local environmental groups, we aim to inspire young pupils to explore renewable energy and connect with nature. We also offer an energy efficiency scheme for primary schools, which could result in free upgrades to their buildings, such as solar panels.

Secondary & Post 16 Education 

We prepare post-16 students for careers in renewable energy through CPD-accredited courses, offering certifications to boost academic and career prospects. Our programmes include guided solar farm tours to showcase operations and community impact, as well as solar farm construction apprenticeships for hands-on experience. We aim to inspire and equip the next generation of renewable energy professionals for impactful careers.

Opportunities for University Students 

For university students, EG Academy is committed to supporting career development and academic growth in the renewable energy sector. In addition to free, CPD-accredited courses on solar and broader renewable energy topics, we are proud to offer bursaries, work placements, and internships designed to provide practical, real-world experience in this rapidly evolving field. We also support advanced research through PhD sponsorships in collaboration with Nottingham Trent University, helping promising students drive innovation and deepen knowledge in renewable energy.
